     Brian L. Daku  B.A.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., P.Eng.

    Biography

    Brian received his B. Sc. Degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo in 1980 and the M. Sc. And Ph. D. degrees from the University of Saskatchewan in 1987 and 1990.

    During the period of 1980 to 1984 he was a Design Engineer and Manager at SED Systems Inc., where he was involved with microprocessor applications in satellite receivers and industrial products. In 1986-87, he was a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Edinburgh and was funded by a Britsh Council fellowship. His research interests range from underwater and underground signal processing, to communication systems and to detection and estimation theory.
