      Dr. Sachdev has provided consulting services to clients in North America, Europe, India and Korea. He coordinated the preparation and offerings of three IEEE courses on microprocessor-based relays, one each in 1979, 1988 and 1997. These courses, as well as other courses instructed by him, have been given in North America, Europe, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Malaysia, Peoples Republic of China, Singapore and Thailand.

      Dr. Sachdev has authored or co-authored well over 200 papers on power system analysis and, power system protection and automation. He is a Life Fellow of the IEEE, Life Fellow of the IE (India), Fellow of IEE and the EIC. He is the Canadian representative on the Cigre Study Committee B5 - Protection and Automation and Standards Coordinator for the Power System Relaying Committee of the IEEE. He is a Professional Engineer in the Province of Saskatchewan.
