Saskatchewan Institute for Materials and Manufacturing (SIMM)

The newly formed Saskatchewan Institute for Materials and Manufacturing (SIMM) is currently in the process of becoming a type C centre based at the University of Saskatchewan but open to members across the province. Current members are affiliated with the University of Saskatchewan, the University of Regina and the Canadian Light Source.

A multi-disciplinary research entity, SIMM is, in part, a reservoir funding entity dedicated to sponsoring graduate students and post-doctoral fellows pursuing research in materials science and engineering. SIMM does not offer academic degrees.
