Overview
The Engineering Co-op and Career Centre supports the College of Engineering's aspriation to distinguish our graduates as well-rounded leaders whose technical, professional, and people skills create positive change in the world. This centre helps position students for success in their engineering career.
Our Co-op Internship Program is administered by the Engineering Co-op and Career Centre and is an optional, academic work-integrated learning program connecting quality undergraduate students and employers.
Work-Integrated Learning is a form of curricular experiental education that formally integrates a student's academic studies with quality experiences within a workplace setting.
The Co-op Internship Program features:
Flexible Term Lengths. 4, 8, 12 and 16 month work terms
Varied Start Dates. Work terms beginning in January, May or September
Gain Experience. Students develop a professional network, hone their engineering skills and can gain up to 20 months of engineering-focused work experience
Support. Students receive support from program staff, an industry mentor and a workplace supervisor
