USask signs partnership agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
On July 24, 2026, USask and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) signed an agreement to collaborate on, support, and enhance nuclear research and training opportunities between the two organizations. It provides a framework for USask to offer further education and training for professionals across Canada, as well as for expanding research and expertise in the field for the future.
USask Engineering, located on Treaty 6 territory and the homeland of the Métis, seeks to provide meaningful access to engineering for Indigenous peoples, while maintaining respectful relationships with Indigenous communities.
