Professor Division of Biomedical EngineeringMy research focuses on behavioural plasticity during recovery from nervous system injury and disease. We assess recovery of motor behaviour in animal models of CNS injury using sensitive and quantifiable functional tests. Currently, we are investigating the effects of a novel, non-invasive experimental therapy on improvements in limb use after cervical spinal cord injury
