Why it matters

Engineering innovations make healthcare better, more affordable, and more accessible – goals identified in Saskatchewan's Growth Plan for the Next Decade of Growth 2020-2030

Engineers, planners and architects work with experts across the social sciences, humanities and arts to create healthy communities

In Saskatchewan we can apply Indigenous knowledge and practices to problems in healthcare to build healthy communities for all

The UnLIMITED CREATE Training Program is Canada's first initiative to train students in medical device innovation and entrepreneurship, incorporating engineering methodologies and Indigenous viewpoints.

UnLIMITED stands for Uniting for Leading Indigenous and non-Indigenous Medical Instrumentation, Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Design.

It offers immersive, innovative training and research experiences for undergraduate and graduate students with an aim to enhance health outcomes for all Canadians, Indigenous and non-Indigenous.

Applications to participate in the program are open now.
